Penn State Blue and White 2022 In Week 1, the Penn State Nittany Lions are set to take on the Purdue Boilermakers at Ross-Ade Stadium . I think this will set the tone early and  will be a strong first week match up for Penn State. First off, right out of the gate Penn State will have their first Big 10 match up of the season. These two haven't had a meet up since the 2019 season when Penn State won 35-7.  Purdue ended their 2022 season with a 9-4 overall record. Purdue currently has lost two players with Marvin Grant entering into the transfer portal and Milton Wright failing to make academic eligibility. The Wright news wasn't all unexpected, as he was ineligible to play in bowl game against Tennessee during the 2021 season. White Out 2021 There’s a lot to look forward to for the upcoming 2022 season for Penn State football . Last year was an unfortunate let down for fans, however this season might be able to make them feel good again.  To start, Penn State has been able to secure a good amount of young, talented recruits. I think they will be able to bring a lot of surprising depth on both offense and defense. Three recruits that stand out to me coming into the season are Drew Allar , Nick Singleton and Dani Dennis-Sutton , all of which are five star recruits.  I’m excited to see what Drew Allar brings to the table. The 6’4” 232 pound quarterback was top notch at his high school in Medina, OH. In the 2021 season, he led his team ending the season with a 13-1 record. Out of 514 throws, he only had seven interceptions, which I think is impressive. He has a strong arm and isn’t afraid to run.
